Maciej Zientara

Founder

He specializes in advanced financial engineering, M&A, and financial structuring. A dynamic entrepreneur, business angel, and main investor with over 25 years of experience on the Polish capital market. As the founder and main investor of Supernova Group, he leads a capital group implementing projects in Poland, Croatia, Cyprus, and the USA. The group has completed nearly 100 projects with a total value exceeding EUR 500 million. Currently, Supernova Group manages 40 capital and real estate projects across several countries with a combined value of over EUR 250 million.

Maciej Zientara is also a partner in JRH ASI SA and the majority shareholder of Soho Development SA, listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. He graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics, completed the Advanced Management Programme at IESE Business School in Barcelona, and participated in a program at Stanford University in California.

Maciej Zientara is a dynamic entrepreneur, business angel, and experienced investor with over 25 years of experience on the Polish capital market and more than 15 years in the residential real estate market. As the founder, investor, and driving force behind Supernova Group, he manages an investment and development group running projects in Poland, Croatia, Cyprus, and Florida (USA).

Supernova Group consists of several independent business lines, including Supernova Venture, Supernova Development, and Supernova Financial Services. The group has completed more than 50 projects with a total value exceeding EUR 500 million, and it currently manages nearly 20 projects with a combined market value of over EUR 100 million.

Maciej Zientara has extensive experience in the venture capital/private equity ecosystem, having participated in financing more than 100 different capital projects. Since 2023, he has served as partner and co-investor at JRH ASI SA, a WSE-listed entity, an alternative investment fund with a portfolio of over 50 VC projects. He is also the majority shareholder of publicly listed Soho Development. Between 2018 and 2024, he launched the Supernova Hotels group, through which he carried out 8 hotel projects in Poland and Cyprus.

His professional career began in 1994–2002, holding positions in key Polish banks such as Citi Handlowy SA, BRE Bank/mBank SA, PBR SA, and PBI SA. Between 1996–2007, he gained extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, and financial engineering, managing investment funds within the National Investment Fund Program. From 2005–2008, he was a fund manager and co-investor directly cooperating with three national investment funds, operating within the Supernova Capital group.

Maciej Zientara graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics (1996) and the prestigious Advanced Management Programme at IESE Business School in Barcelona (2012). His unique knowledge and managerial skills enable him to manage highly complex investment projects and develop his business activity internationally.

She specializes in financial modeling, developing financial management and controlling systems. A graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, she complemented her education with postgraduate studies at the University of Warsaw in “Economic Efficiency of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.”

She has extensive experience and broad expertise in financial analysis, financial accounting, and managerial accounting.

A graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, where she gained solid theoretical and practical foundations in economics and management. She complemented her education with postgraduate studies at the University of Warsaw, specializing in “Economic Efficiency of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.” This allowed her to deepen advanced analytical techniques and tools essential for assessing and improving the efficiency of enterprises.

Her extensive experience covers a wide range of areas related to financial analysis, financial accounting, and managerial accounting. She specializes in conducting detailed financial analyses that enable precise monitoring of a company’s financial condition and identifying areas requiring improvement.

In the field of financial accounting, she has experience in managing full bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Her skills in managerial accounting allow for effective budget planning, cost control, and making strategic financial decisions that contribute to increased profitability and financial stability of enterprises.

Thanks to her combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, she is able to effectively analyze and interpret financial data and implement strategic solutions that optimize the financial and operational performance of companies. Her competencies are highly valued in the business community, where her expertise contributes to the success and growth of the organizations she collaborates with.

She specializes in developing management processes, operational management, transactional processes, and tax controlling, as well as managing publicly listed companies. She has extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in administration, finance, and law. She initiates change, develops internal organizational projects, and effectively motivates employees. Currently, she serves as a board member in several capital companies.

Jej wykształcenie uzupełniły studia podyplomowe na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim, specjalizujące się w „Efektywności ekonomicznej małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw”. Financial Management, Controlling, and Taxes

This department is responsible for strategic financial planning and managing the company’s costs and revenues. Its tasks include:

  • Financial analysis – examining the company’s financial performance, identifying key financial indicators, assessing profitability, and identifying areas that require optimization.

  • Budgeting – creating operational and capital budgets, monitoring expenses and revenues, and managing financial risk.

  • Cost control – overseeing operating costs, monitoring compliance with the budget, and identifying savings opportunities.

  • Financial reporting – preparing regular financial reports for the management board and shareholders, including financial forecasts.

  • Taxes – overseeing tax settlements, ensuring compliance with tax law regulations, and optimizing the company’s tax liabilities.

Legal Department

The main tasks of the legal department are to ensure the company’s compliance with applicable laws and provide tax advisory services. This includes:

  • Contract preparation and analysis – drafting business contracts, analyzing legal risks, and providing advice in contract negotiations.
